How do you unwind after a demanding day?

I wish I could say I Netflix and chill or play video games or cook or paint or meditate or play with my cats. But the reality is that I struggle to switch off. It takes me a long time to switch off from work and then it also takes time to get back into work mode after taking a day off. Like trying hard to catch up on time but always lagging behind.

It starts with going over what I could have done better a 1000 times. Maybe I should have said this or done that… after reaching all possible conclusions that inevitably end up either bloating my ego or end up feeling like the most useless person on earth.

Then I either go out for a drive or workout, both of which help me switch off and feel in the present and grounded…… and then I finally get to the good part… Netflix and … with just an hour to go before bedtime. 😭

Do you also face the same issue?

How do you deal with it?

I understand your struggle to switch off.
