If there’s one thing in life I would like to improve on it would be to find a balance in life. The days I do succeed in doing that are the days I am most at peace!

Voices in our head,
They never cease,
Internalized opinions of others,
Whom we try to please.

Despite these voices,
We try to make choices,
We try to break our fence,
And try hard to find balance.

Between work and home,
Between being a kid and being an adult,
Between taking control and just letting go,
Between socializing and spending time by yourself,
Between eating a bar of chocolate and working out,
Between surrendering to sexual desires and solving complex puzzles,
Between pushing yourself and taking it easy,
Between doing things for others vs prioritizing yourself.

For somewhere between the two extremes,
You will find your comfort and mental peace.
Voices in the head have nothing more to say,
What others say doesn’t spoil your day.
This point is the point that stops the distress,
That true point that defines our success.
